By Car
Tres Cantos is located 30 km north of Madrid, by car you can get from Madrid through the M-607 road.

Uber, Bolt and Cabify are avaliable in Madrid.

By Train
The Atocha international train station has a direct connection with the main Spanish cities and is also very accessible from other European countries.
From the Atocha train station, you can take a commuter train, line C4b, direction to Colmenar viejo, get out in the station Tres Cantos. After its possible to get to the venue by walk 15min, or by bus 5min. 

By Plane
The international airport of Barajas – Adolfo Suarez is located just 25 km from Tres Cantos.  From the airport you have 3 options.

  • Cab: Journey of around 20 minutes. It costs between €30 – €40. If you are 3 or 4 people, it may be the best option, for time and investment.
  • Train: Renfe Cercanias. Go to the Terminal 4 train station and get on a train to the CHAMARTÍN stop. There you will have to change and get on Line C4B, direction Colmenar Viejo and get off at the TRES CANTOS stop. Approximate time of 50 minutes. From the Tres Cantos train station, there is a 15-minute walk or an extra bus.
  • Direct bus. Line 827. Color Green.

Accomodation

Hostal Tres Cantos is located 300 meters from the rink. The rooms include a wardrobe, desk, and a private bathroom with a shower. It offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Daily cleaning service is included in the rate. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.

  • Christmas Markets: located at, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España and the Design Market at Matadero.
  • Christmas Lights: Streets across Madrid are beautifully lit up for the holidays. Gran Vía, Serrano, and the Salamanca District are especially popular for their lights, as well as Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. and option is to take the Naviluz – Christmas Light Bus Tour.
  • Ice Skating Rinks: located at Plaza de Colón, Matadero Madrid, Madrid Río.
  • New Year’s Eve in Puerta del Sol: On New Year’s Eve, Puerta del Sol is Madrid’s most iconic place to celebrate the New Year, with thousands of people gathering to count down the final seconds of the year. Following Spanish tradition, attendees eat 12 grapes—one for each chime at midnight—to bring good luck in the new year. The atmosphere is lively with festive hats, confetti, and sparkling wine.
  • Fireworks Displays The midnight fireworks display at Puerta del Sol is the highlight, but many other parts of the city also feature smaller fireworks shows.
  • San Silvestre Vallecana Run: is a popular 10K race held on the afternoon of December 31st, attracting both serious runners and those just looking to enjoy the festive spirit. It starts in Calle Concha Espina and ends at Estadio de Vallecas. Some participants dress up in fun costumes, making it a lively event for both runners and spectators.
